New to the sport of Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP)?
Have you been paddleboarding for a while and want to improve your skills?
Want to discover a fun and easy way to explore our beautiful Eastern Shore on the water?
Sign up for our ABC’s Of SUP session. Suitable for all skill levels. We will paddle in sheltered waters and calm conditions.
What will you learn?
- how to carry your board
- using a leash
- SUP safety
- mounting your board from the water, shore or dock
- how to paddle (we progress from sitting, to kneeling, to standing!)
- how to turn
- mandatory safety equipment, paddles, types of boards, clothing, and more
WHERE? Malagash Cove, Mushaboom, or wherever you would like to meet us along the Eastern Shore. We will choose a location based on the weather so it will be sheltered and calm.
We can bring the equipment and instruction to you! Ask about instruction outside of the Mushaboom/Sheet Harbour area.
COST: $60 per person with own equipment, $75 including equipment rental. Payment by cash or eTransfer on day of lesson.
WHAT TO BRING?
- Non cotton clothing for being out on the water (quick dry clothing is best)
- Water shoes
- Warm clothing for when you are done
- Towel
- Water and snacks
We reserve the right to cancel for weather or any unsafe conditions. Safety always comes first with us.
